Captain Joe Lyons Captain since 2000. An avid fisherman since he was a kid, Captain Joe Lyons has spent virtually every summer of his life “down the shore” fishing. Over the course of the last 30 odd years (some odder than others), he has fished for everything you can catch off the coast of New Jersey from fluke and sea bass to tuna and shark. His background and interests in local fishing spots, the patterns of what’s biting and where the best fishing can be found have been developed over the course of many years. Whether it is night fishing in the Delaware Bay or taking part in the season’s biggest tournaments, Captain Joe Lyons knows what’s going on all season up and down the coast.
